Man struck and killed at bus stop near Staten Island mall after driver loses control

A 40-year-old man was killed after a driver lost control and plowed into a bus stop near the Staten Island mall. The driver remained at the scene and the bus shelter was heavily damaged. No arrests have been made. The incident occurred around midnight on Monday.
