Nets left frustrated after failing again to end long skid vs. Knicks: ‘wanted that s–t so f–king bad’

The Nets failed to break their 14-game losing streak against the Knicks, with a 93-92 defeat at Barclays Center. Despite being undermanned, Josh Minott and the Nets' bench led a near comeback in the game, with Minott scoring 22 points and a career-best 6-for-9 from deep. The Nets have not beaten the Knicks since Jan. 28, 2023, and have dropped 14 consecutive games in this series. Karl-Anthony Towns had 26 points and 15 rebounds, and had more free-throw attempts (13) than the Nets as a team (10). Despite leading by as much as 45-32, the Nets fell behind by 10 points. Despite a 17-0 run from the Knicks' defense, the team's efforts were thwarted by Jalen Brunson's consecutive buckets.
