Gas prices get rocked by Iran war volatility

Despite this, the national average price of gasoline was still rising as of March 10, according to GasBuddy.com. The price of retail gas prices varies widely across the country, with the low price in Dallas in early January being $2.23 per gallon. Fears of tanker attacks on Iran have prevented further drops in oil prices. However, the drop in crude prices in less than 48 hours is seen as dramatic.
