Eight states have filed a lawsuit in California to block Nexstar's proposed $3.54 billion acquisition of rival broadcaster Tegan. The merger would make the combined entity the largest U.S. broadcast station group. The Federal Communications Commission has publicly supported the deal, stating it will proceed after President Donald Trump publicly endorsed it.
