Big tree plan takes root in downtown San Antonio

The Trees Everywhere Project, led by Centro San Antonio and the city, aims to plant 1,000 trees in downtown San Antonio by 2035. The project will focus on areas with little existing shade and aims to increase comfort and safety, improve air quality, and support public health. The planting sites will be chosen using data on tree coverage, heat, infrastructure and foot traffic.
