Over 14,000 Routers Were Hijacked In Malicious Global Cyberattack

The malware known as KadNap, which turns devices into a botnet, has affected over 14,000 routers across the world, mostly from the United States. The cyberattack is decentralized, with a peer-to-peer setup that allows the botnet to blend into normal internet traffic. The majority of the infected devices are located in the U.S. and other countries.
