Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell have reportedly encouraged bank executives to test Anthropic's new Mythos model, which can detect vulnerabilities. While JPMorgan Chase was the only bank with access to the model, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Bank of America, and Morgan Stanley are reportedly testing it. This comes as Anthropic is in court with the Department of Defense over the designation of Anthropic as a supply-chain risk.
