The White Sox beat the Athletics 7-4 in West Sacramento, with a strong performance from left-hander Noah Schultz in his second start of his career. Despite a few late bullpen hiccups, Schultz managed to secure the win with a five-run lead and a six-strikeout over five innings. Japanese star Munetaka Murakami also hit a towering home run for the third consecutive game.
