A new review has found that about 10% of new cancer diagnoses each year are caused by overweight and obesity, and that losing more than 10% may reduce these risks. The study was led by Dr. Neil Iyengar, director of the Winship Cancer Institute, who also suggested that losing over 100% of your body weight could significantly decrease the risk. The research also revealed that losing an entire percentage of pounds per year could significantly impact the health of the population.
