Stewart, who was watching the game, recalled the incident and blamed Brunson for wearing open-toed shoes. The injury was named the Stewart-Brunson fracture by the hospital for Special Surgery. Despite apologizing for his role in the accident, Stewart noted that it took one year to heal.
