The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, a sequel to the film The Super Mario Bros. Movie, has been a hit and is expected to have a larger opening than its predecessor, The Super Super Mario Broke. The success of the film gives Illumination no incentive to make a better film, as it is less engaging and less engaging than its predecessors. The sequel, which is currently in theaters, grossed about $68 million globally, is likely to generate more for Illumination and its partner Universal than the original film. The company has yet to announce a third Mario movie, but it is anticipated to happen before the end of the month.
