The Draper City Police Department confirmed that there is an open "domestic assault investigation" regarding Paul and Mortensen, and that allegations have been lodged in both directions. The cast members have been distancing themselves from Paul, who was previously arrested in connection with an alleged domestic violence incident in 2023. The news comes as Paul's season of The Bachelorette premieres on ABC.
