Liza Minnelli, a famous actress and singer, has celebrated her 80th birthday with a successful career spanning Broadway, music, movies, and television. Born on March 12, 1946, she was born to Judy Garland and Vincente Minnellelli, who made her film debut in 1949 with her mother in In the Good Old Summertime. At 19, she made her nightclub debut at age 19, and won her Tony Award for her performance in Flora the Red Menace at the age of 19, making her the youngest person to win the leading actress in a musical Tony. She also recorded three records in 1964, It Amazes Me in 1965, and There Is a Time in 1966. Minnellilli married composer Peter Allen in 1967 and later divorced director Jack Haley in 1979.
