Last tile placed in Pershing Mural Restoration Project

The Pershing Mural at Wyuka Cemetery in Lincoln, Nebraska, has been reinstated following a years-long process to move thousands of tiles from the now-demolished Pershing Auditorium to its new home. Liz Shea-McCoy, founder of the PershingMural Project, raised almost $850,000 in four months to meet the city's deadline to remove the mural from Pershing. Shea-McGoy praised the efforts to preserve the mural, which is a historic and representative of Nebraska.
