The live-action feature film based on the graphic novel series by Bill Masuku, Razorman, is in development. The project is being produced by the filmmakers behind Netflix's Heart of the Hunter and Disney's Iwájú, along with producers Kugali Media, David Neumann’s Newmation, and Alta Global Media. The film will be about a young mechanic named Lovemore, who transforms into Razorman and fights against a crime syndicate responsible for his father's murder. Mandala Dube is set to direct the film and will serve as an executive producer. Kurt Ellis, a South African novelist turned screenwriter, is attached to write the screenplay.
