The Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce has organized a Star Wars-inspired weekend in New Hope, Pennsylvania, from May 1 to 4. Over 60 businesses, restaurants, bars, and other locations will participate in the event, which includes themed cocktails, specialty menus, retail promotions, and interactive moments throughout New Hope. The highlight of the weekend will be on Sunday, May 3, when members of the 501st Legion (Garrison Carida) will "storm" the town in costume. The event is driven almost entirely by small, independently owned businesses. Food and drink specials, retail promotion, and engaging experiences are expected throughout the weekend.
