Arizona dominates LIU in March Madness opener to end best season in 14 years

No. 1 seed Arizona defeated LIU in the March Madness opener, ending LIU's best season in 14 years. The Sharks fell behind early in the game and were unable to rally. Arizona's Koa Peat and Brayden Burries, two projected first-round picks, scored 33 points. Despite the loss, LIU returned to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in eight years.
