The creator of "Boho," Abbie Boutkabout, has encouraged women of all ages to dream and to dance. The show, presented at Canneseries, follows the story of Kima, her sister Nawal and their friend Alex who navigates societal pressures. The creator, Olympia Allaert, emphasised that while life gets serious, it's never too late to dream. Despite this, the show has been sold internationally by Banijay Rights and currently available on Streamz. The main character was initially portrayed as white, but the show is now about "the female gaze," highlighting the struggles of women perceived as less than the white characters.
