Oscar Winner Julianne Moore to Receive Kering’s Women in Motion Award in Cannes

Kering's Women in Motion Awards gala, which takes place during the Cannes Film Festival, is set for May 17. Oscar-winning actress Julianne Moore will receive a Women in motion trophy, while Italian filmmaker Margherita Spampinato will receive an emerging talent award. The ceremony, launched in 2015, recognises female artists whose careers and commitment have advanced the role of women in cinema and society. Kering's chairman, François-Henri Pinault, praised Moore for her commitment to advancing meaningful representation both on and off screen. Moore said she was "genuinely grateful" to be recognized by Kering and is part of the company's legacy of amplifying female and diverse voices.
