This comes after President Donald Trump was questioned by Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo about the impact of a naval blockade on ships coming into and out of the Strait of Hormuz on oil prices. Despite claiming that his economic advisors and the president's lack of expectations about a price reduction, he seemed cautious and hopeful. The president also mentioned that the price of oil and gas hasn't risen as much as he thought, but insisted that Iran had a nuclear weapon. The national average gas price is currently at $4.10 per gallon, up from just over $2.90 in early March.
