Man Sentenced After Violently Attacking Teen Chick-fil-A Employee With a Brick in Unprovoked Attack

Clayton Peavey, 31, of Santa Maria, California, has been sentenced to seven years in state prison for assault with a deadly weapon and personal infliction of great bodily injury. The violent attack occurred on March 2, when Pevey approached a 19-year-old Chick-fil-A employee with a concrete brick and struck her with enough force to break the brick. The victim was hit with several gashes on her head, a concussion, and broken bones in her hand. Police found Peavee in nearby agricultural fields and he was later arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
