Mayson Perdue, a bride, has been accused of ruining her mom's old wedding dress after she had it altered for her own rehearsal dinner. Perdue shared a video on TikTok showing the transformation on March 30 showing her trying on the dress again, which had been cut and hemmed to stop just above her knees. Some users on the site expressed disapproval, while others argued that the dress would have been perfect for her wedding day and she should have worn it as her own wedding dress.
