David Ellison, former head of Paramount and NBCUniversal, has pledged to release 30 films per year once Paramount merges with Warner Bros. Discovery. Ellison stated that the company believes that movies should be seen in theaters and has demonstrated its ability to increase output. He also stated that Paramount will release at least 15 films in 2026, up from eight films in 2025.
