Japanese Foreign Minister, Toshimitsu Motegi, has suggested that the country may consider using its military to sweep the Strait of Hormuz if the United States and Israel reach a cease-fire with Iran. The international benchmark Brent crude oil value had risen to $112.19 per barrel as the strait remains blocked.
