Gilroy man arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting second girl

Anthony Joseph Ramon, a YMCA of Silicon Valley summer camp counselor, has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a second child during a field trip. Ramon was initially arrested on July 9 and charged with lewd and lascivious acts on a 10-year-old girl. The second 10-girl was reported to have been sexually assaulted on the same day. Both incidents reportedly occurred during a trip to the Morgan Hill Aquatic Center on June 30. Raman was placed on leave during the initial investigation and has worked for the YMca since August 6, 2024.
