Tina Fey, a 30 Rock actress and former writer on Saturday Night Live, has explained why athletes make the best hosts because they are more coachable and less concerned about their performance than Hollywood stars. She shared her thoughts during a conversation with Damian Holbrook at HISTORYTalks in Philadelphia on April 18. Fey began working on SNL in 1997 and later joined the cast in 2000, and remained until 2006. She explained that athletes are more comfortable with being told what to do, as opposed to Hollywood stars who often don't respond to such requests. She also shared that athletes understand that relaxed readiness during live shows, similar to comedians' preparation for big games.
