FBI issues warning for immigration-related scams in Chicago, across US

The FBI has issued a warning for immigration-related scams across the country, including in Chicago and New York. The scammers are posing as lawyers or law enforcement officials and attempting to steal money from immigrants. Robert Richardson from the Chicago Field Office of the FBI said these scams can target anyone, but some are targeting immigrants living in the U.S. without legal authorization. The FBI has been working to identify these fraudulent individuals and use their agency's resources to find them. The scams are often posted on social media apps or direct message messages.
