The 2027 Infiniti QX80 is set to launch in 2027 with a boxy design and premium cabin, while its performance is expected to be improved. Despite being praised for its compact design and quiet cruising, the car's handling is criticized for being stiff and lack of smoothness. The Qx80 shares its bones with the Nissan Armada, which can be optioned with some of the same features while costing less. It is also expected to launch a performance variant in 2026, featuring a tuned-up version of the twin-turbo V-6 with 600 horsepower and a Red Sport badge. The mid-range Luxe model offers features such as an air-spring suspension system, heated and ventilated first- and second-row seats, and handsome 22-inch wheels. All variants of the QX1980 are rated to tow up to 8500 pounds, exceeding the maximum towing capacity of the Cadillac Escalade, the Lincoln Navigator, and the Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class. Pricing and availability are currently at $1,800.
