Julio Rodriguez loves Mariners, but says winning WBC is at top of his baseball list

Marqueee outfielder Julio Rodriguez, who plays for the Dominican Republic, has stated that winning the World Baseball Classic is the primary priority for him, despite his love for the Mariners. This is Rodriguez's second time participating in the WBC, as he represented the D.R. ahead of his sophomore season in 2023. The team went undefeated in pool play this year, outscoring opponents 41-10 in four games. The win over Venezuela was the "most electric game" Rodriguez described as an "electricity" game he has played in.
