Patriots to be featured on HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks’ ahead of 2027 season

The New England Patriots are set to be featured on HBO's football documentary series "Hard Knocks" for the first time in their franchise history. The team that defeated the Patriots in Super Bowl LX, the Seattle Seahawks, will also be featured. This will be in the 2026 season. While the series has been broadcast since 2001, the Patriots have avoided this attention due to several changes in broadcast rules. The NFL changed these rules in recent years to make playoff teams more compliant for a featured spot on “Hard Knocking” and to protect teams with new head coaches.
