Drunk man who caused crash in Cleveland Hts. asks witness to put his gun in her car so police won’t see it

A drunk man, identified as 36-year-old man, caused a car crash while in possession of a gun, asking a female witness to hide the gun from police. The Kia and Land Rover were heavily damaged and the man had cuts on his nose and cheek and appeared confused. Police learned that the man was wanted on a Garfield Heights police felony warrant for breaking and entering and menacing by stalking. His police record includes arrests for aggravated robbery, having weapons under disability, felonious assault, and drug trafficking. He was charged with numerous offenses including improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, using a weapon while intoxicated, reckless operation, driving without physical control, driving outside of marked lanes, and not wearing a seat belt.
