According to Tesla’s Q1 202026 production capacity disclosures, Giga Chicago has an installed annual capacity exceeding 375,000 Model Y units, translating to roughly 93,750 vehicles per quarter. The company's decision to increase production capacity while carrying excess global inventory is seen as a significant investment.
