Shares in Globalstar, Inc., a satellite communications company, have surged following reports that Amazon is in talks to acquire the company. However, the company's relationship with Apple could complicate any potential acquisition. As of this writing, Globalstar's shares have risen nearly 14% to around $78 per cent. The company's share price closed at $68.09.
