The Utah Department of Corrections has introduced a program called "Kindness Classes" in which inmates are encouraged to reflect on their choices and the impact they have on others. The classes, offered in partnership with the One Kind Act A Day Foundation, aim to help individuals rethink their paths through intentional acts of compassion. Participants are also encouraged to build empathy, take responsibility, and recognize that change is possible if they choose it. The initiative was created by the Semnani Family Foundation as part of a broader effort to give back to the community. The program reflects a belief that when one thing changes, everything changes.
