NCAA basketball analysts see UA coach Tommy Lloyd as a top fit for UNC

The North Carolina Tar Heels basketball program may have a head coaching position, specifically for Arizona Wildcats head coach Tommy Lloyd, according to analysts. This comes after UNC's March 19 First-Round loss to VCU in the NCAA Tournament. Jeff Goodman, a college basketball analyst, cited Lloyd as a potential ideal replacement for the position. If Arizona wins the national championship, Goodman does not believe Lloyd would leave if they win. This is Lloyd's fifth season at Arizona and his last as an assistant coach. Current Tar Heel head coach Hubert Davis is under pressure after losing in the first round in each of the last two NCAA Tournaments.
