On March 23rd, 2026, a shooting at a Bank of America ATM in Conroe, Texas left a Brinks security guard critically injured. The Conroe Police Department responded to a welfare check and discovered that a grey pickup was seen leaving the scene. Following a thorough investigation, Conroe police tracked the stolen money boxes from the ATM and conducted a felony traffic stop on the suspect vehicle. The suspect, identified as 41-year-old white male, then shot himself in the head before being transported to a local hospital. The security guard is currently undergoing surgery.
