A court in Moscow has convicted 19 people of involvement in the 2024 shooting rampage that killed 149 people and injured over 600. The perpetrators were a faction of the Islamic State group, which claimed responsibility for the attack. The defendants were sentenced to lengthy prison terms, with 15 sentenced to life, one sentenced to 22 1/2 years, and three others given 19 years and 11 months respectively.
