WNBA and players' union report progress in CBA talks as key issues remain

The WNBA and players' union have reported progress in their collective bargaining agreement (CBA) talks, but both parties believe there is still work to be done to reach a resolution. In-person talks entered a seventh consecutive day after the previous session ended at 3 a.m. in the morning. The WNBA Commissioner, Cathy Engelbert, stated that the team is working as hard as possible to get a deal done quickly. Key issues are revenue sharing and housing, with the union asking for more than 70% of gross revenue for the players. If a deal is reached, the season would begin on May 8.
