Despite this, the jury only awarded him $140,000 with no additional punitive damages. The judge's decision came after Saxon's lawyers argued he was unfairly fired after allegedly injuring himself on the job. Despite these claims, West's motion argues Saxon presented no evidence of physical harm and cannot receive damages as an unlicensed contractor.
