Eric Winter, star of ABC’s ‘The Rookie,’ launches premium rum brand

Eric Winter, star of ABC's "The Rookie," has launched a premium rum brand named Palm Republic. Winter fell in love with rum 20 years ago after meeting with his girlfriend's family in Puerto Rico. He became obsessed with the spirit after discovering its complexity and sophistication. The company aims to create a rum with no added sugar, not spiced, and to change the perception of rum. Both versions of Palm Republic were created. At the launch event, Winter was a mixologist and received good reviews for his work.
