Winter Weather, Wind Advisories Usher in Rain, Snow Storms

A wind advisory is scheduled for Wednesday from 12pm to midnight, and a winter weather advisory is in place for many higher elevations in the region, including the central mountains and eastern highlands, including parts of Custer, Butte, Lemhi, Idaho, Clark, Fremont, Madison, Bonneville and Caribou counties in Idaho, and the Wyoming counties of Park, Teton, Lincoln, and Sublette. Rain storms are expected to turn into snow on Thursday, with a 60 percent chance of precipitation. Gusts could reach 43 mph and the overnight low will be near 36.
