Chance the Rapper has announced a 37-date North American tour celebrating the 10th anniversary of his landmark 2016 mixtape, Coloring Book. The tour, which kicks off August 11 in Cleveland and ends October 11 in Pittsburgh, will be promoted by Live Nation and featuring performances at major venues including the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, SummerStage Central Park in New York, and MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston. The project, released as a free streaming exclusive on Apple Music before appearing on other platforms, significantly impacted the conversation about artist independence across the industry. The GRAMMY Academy changed its eligibility rules to include streaming-only releases, and awarded Colored Book three awards including Best Rap Album. The artist presale for the tour begins May 19 and general on-sale follows May 21.
