The US Federal Aviation Commission (FIA) is investigating an incident involving the Black Hawk Helicopter, a Boeing 737 operated by United Airlines and the Boeing 737. The incident occurred when the plane was approaching the John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana at 8:40pm. The FAA is also investigating whether the use of a new measure to suspend visual separation between airplanes and helicopters during flights was applied at the time of the incident.
