The New York Mets are looking for a last arm to complete their Opening Day bullpen, with only one remaining spot left. The team currently has six relievers, including Huascar Brazobán, Devin Williams, Luke Weaver, Brooks Raley, Tobias Myers and Luis García. Manager Carlos Mendoza does not expect resolution on the final reliever until after the Mets break camp next Monday. Potential internal options include future Hall of Famer Craig Kimbrel and lefty Bryan Hudson, acquired in a trade with the White Sox. How the Mets fill the final spot could depend on whether a second lefty is needed.
