Michael Fulmer’s side gig can wait until he’s done with SF Giants

Michael Fulmer, a co-owner of PitchingWRX in Oklahoma City, is currently competing for a spot on the San Francisco Giants' Opening Day roster. Fulmer is one of several non-roster invitees competing for the position. Despite a long list of surgeries over the last decade, Fulmer has been a successful pitcher and has made six appearances for the Giants this spring, allowing two runs over eight innings (2.25 ERA) with 12 strikeouts. He has also been a valuable resource to up-and-coming pitching facilities in Oklahoma. The owner, Alex Marney, said Fulmer’s contributions to the facility are on hold for the time being as he competes for a position on the Opening Day team.
