Albuquerque Environmental Health (Cabq) has issued a list of four businesses that have been red-tagged in its latest inspection report. The most recent inspection revealed that a food establishment received a passing grade and can operate but must follow a plan to correct violations such as zero parts per million in the automatic dish machine. The food establishment had major violations that presented an imminent hazard and required immediate downgrade or closure. The working containers of toxic materials, such as degreaser and window cleaner, were not properly labeled with their common names and were improperly stored at room temperature. The establishment lacked required temperature logs for raw seafood, meats, vegetables and dairy products and had no testing kit or device to measure the concentration of quaternary compound sanitizer solution. The facility also lacked sufficient cold-holding equipment to maintain food at or below 41 degrees and was not properly equipped with proper storage facilities for employee clothing or personal belongings. Food employee was observed preparing food without wearing proper hair restraints and was seen touching shredded lettuce with his bare hands while adding it to tacos. The building lacked adequate storage facilities and equipment for time/temperature control for safety TCS food items. The required permit to operate was not posted in a conspicuous place at the facility.
