Legendary rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers has reportedly sold their music catalog to Warner Music Group for over $300 million. The deal is approximately half the value of a $650 million joint venture catalog acquisition with Bain Capital. The band, known for their hits and contributions to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, formed in the early 1980s and remains one of the biggest touring acts in music history. Rumours of the sale of their recorded rights began in February 2025, with predictions that they might be the subject of discussions in early 2026.
