Eagles get Andy Dalton in trade with Panthers to bolster QB depth

The Philadelphia Eagles have acquired veteran quarterback Andy Dalton from the Panthers in exchange for a 2027 seventh-round pick. Dalton, who has been with the Panthers for each of the last three seasons, will likely backup Jalen Hurts in Philadelphia, replacing Tanner McKee who has spent the last two seasons as the team's QB2. The acquisition comes as the Eagles lost their third-string quarterback, Sam Howell, to the Cowboys.
