Cyprus airport evacuated after radar detects suspect object

The passenger air terminal in Paphos, Cyprus, was evacuated after a suspected object was detected on radars. The airport, which lies within the Republic of Cyprus, is located about 60 kilometres from the site of the incident. The incident occurred shortly after midnight on Monday.
