Man facing decades in prison after admitting to killing his parents in their N.J. home

Michael Mulgrew, 37, of Barnegat, New Jersey, pleaded guilty to two counts of murder in the death of his parents, Eugene Mulgraw, 71, and Cheryl Mulgaw, 69. The state will seek consecutive 30-year sentences for Mulgrow, both with no parole. The then 34-year-old admitted to stabbing his parents to death in a dispute about household chores the next day. He also admitted to using drugs and having a "momorish episode of drug-induced psychosis" while living in Vietnam.
